What is MIPTV?

MIPTV is the longest running international television market taking place in Cannes each April.
It brings together global distributors, producers, buyers and commissioners of drama, doc, kids, factual and formats programming for a curated week of business meetings, matchmaking opportunities, exclusive market intelligence, conferences sessions and global networking.

A reformatted 3-day business-efficient schedule that will also see MIPFormats and MIPDoc – previously held the weekend prior to the market – rolled into the single week in the Palais.

MIPDrama will start on Sunday in presence of MIP Drama Buyers advisory board to welcome TV content sourcing and investors in Cannes.

Established in 2018 by an independent association chaired by Fleur Pellerin, the CANNESERIES festival aims to promote and highlight series from all over the world and become the voice of this modern, popular and ultra-creative art.

Drawing its energy from the very heart of the world-renowned city of Cannes, the festival will take place from April 1st to 6 2022, in parallel with MIPTV.

In support of the United Nations, and in line with the Decade of Action for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the MIP SDG Award honours media companies for their action and contribution to delivering the Sustainable Development Goals.
