  • Entry Criteria

    The MIPTV Digital Short Form Series Pitch is open to all creators and producers from around the world (under the banner of a company or not) to present their new and original web series.

    Submitted projects will be reviewed by an international Jury of commissioners from leading networks and digital platforms.

  • Selection will be based on the following criteria:

    • Creativity
    • Original and innovative concept
    • Storytelling quality and capacity to adapt to short form formats and mobile consumption
    • Production value
    • Capacity to return for multiple series
    • Worldwide appeal

    The selected projects will also have to be:

    • Well written with a clear statement of the viability of the project
    • Fit into one of the following categories: Drama or Kids Content
    • Episodes lasting no more than 10 minutes
    • Drama (all genres), animation or youth live action
    • New and original concepts which have not been commissioned or released yet and for which the worldwide rights are still available.
  • Key dates

    • Call for entries opens online: 24 November 2016
    • Deadline for entries: 3 February 2017
    • Finalists announced: Beginning of March 2017
    • Pitching at MIPTV, Palais des Festivals, Cannes: Monday 3 or Tuesday 4 April 2017
