• Brand new this year at MIPTV, the Kids Live Action Pitch is a unique pitching event for creators and producers of Kids Live Action series.

    The Kids Live Action Pitch is open to all creators and producers from around the world (under the banner of a company or not) to present their new and original Kids Live Action series which have not been commissioned or released yet and for which the worldwide rights are still available.

    • To enter the Kids Live Action Pitch, you need to fill out the online Pitch Entry Form and agree to the the Kids Live Action Pitch 2018 Rules and Regulations.
    • A Video (Demo, Mood reel) or a PDF file with visual elements (characters, places, …) is required to take part in the Kids Live Action Pitch. The video shall be less than 2 mn & the PDF shall have less than 12 slides.

    • Creativity & Storytelling quality
    • Original and innovative concept
    • Fit with – or part of – the 6-12 years old demographic
    • Capacity of returning for multiple series
    • Worldwide appeal

    • Visibility during the on-stage pitching in Cannes during MIPTV 2018.
    • Visibility in MIPTV 2018 communication and marketing tools (official conference programme, MIPTV website and social networks).
    • Organised one-to-one meetings with the Jury members in Cannes.


    • 21 December 2017: launch of call for entries.
    • 16 February 2018: end of call for entries.
    • Beginning of March: Announcement to the finalists.
    • Mid-March 2018: finalists’ official announcement.
    • 8 or 9 April 2018: mandatory preparatory and technical meeting for finalists.
