    The international screenings for original online video
    A packed 2-day Grand Auditorium programme of curated screenings from world-renowned platforms, digital studios and online channels, including YouTube and Maker Studio as founding partners. Chipotle, What's Trending, Vuguru, Fox Digital Entertainment and Smokebomb Entertainment presented their latest online originals followed by on-stage interviews with the producers, creative executives and talent behind the content.

    The MIPTV Médaille d'Honneur recognises outstanding contributions to the international television business and leading roles in developing the global TV community. The 2014 recipients were:

    4K Focus: The MIPTV 4K Ultra-HD programme, created in partnership with Sony Corporation and sponsored by SES Astra, ran over the four days of MIPTV and represented the world’s first showcase of 4K content covering all entertainment genres.

    3rd International Drama Co-Production Summit: gathered 60 global decision-makers to share their thoughts on where to find new talent, what new creative direction the industry is taking and how to identify the next hit series. By invitation

    Junior at MIPTV

    NEW in 2014 : Junior came to MIPTV and kicked off with MIPTV’s Future of Kids’ TV Summit. 80 creative strategists and influential visionaries from the global kids’ entertainment industry took part in an ultimate think-tank to define its future direction. The event was followed by a VIP networking cocktail. MIP Digital Fronts also showcased online original videos for kids.

    Chipotle named MIPTV 2014 Brand of the Year in recognition of “Farmed and Dangerous”

    The whole team behind the original online series "Farmed and Dangerous", including actor Ray Wise and series creators Mark Crumpacker (Chipotle's CMO), along with Piro partners Tim Piper (writer/director/executive producer) and Daniel Rosenberg (writer/executive producer), presented the series at MIPTV 2014.
